About the Author

a picture of the author in typical pose at the Queen's ArmsMatt Rankin has been keenly interested in cooking and eating animals for most of his life. He particularly enjoys a good slab of porterhouse, while a chicken parmigiana runs a close second. His favourite predatory animals are the big cats of Africa, and his preferred condiment is barbeque sauce.

Currently he is studying full time at La Trobe University in Bendigo, rather gamely attempting a degree in Computer Networks while maintaining this site and devouring animals in his spare time. Some random hobbies include:

When time and money permits, he can be seen quaffing ale and feasting upon a wide array of animals at The Queen’s Arms Bar and Bistro, where the price is reasonable and the portions are fit for a sabre-tooth tiger (may they rest in peace). His hobbies include mixed martial arts, Buddhism, and working on his recipe for Meats of All Nations, a dish containing one of every type of commonly consumed meat in the world.

He can be contacted at mdrankin@students.latrobe.edu.au.
