Joshua was a huge baby and then some, he was 54 cm tall and came into the world with his eyes wide open, looking around at everyone with those big brown eyes, he was kind of asking where am I.
Joshua was always a hungry milk baby and drank non-stop, which is probably why is grew so quick. For his age he was up around the 90% percentile, and currently seems to dwarf other kids his age. I can not remember him ever trying to crawl much, and when he did decide being mobile was more fun, he started walking within two weeks. I guess crawling just wasn't his thing. He was walking without assistance by the age of 10 months and running a month later. When he achieved bipedal locomotion he was so much happier. The start of a long road to independence had begun. From this point he became almost infatuated with our computers, spending hours watching video clips and television shows.
Some of his favourite shows at the moment are Thomas the tank engine, Bob the builder, The Muppets and Blues Clues, his favourite show at the moment is Thomas the tank engine, he live and breaths this show. I think I would call it infatuation, as many of his first and subsequent words have been derived from or relate to this show. He is actively, (with the aid of his parents) collecting all available mechanise that is available. All of which must be near him when the show is on.
Joshua is not what you would call a big eater, he really doesn't eat much at all, unless it comes from the dairy department, perhaps a few bananas and the occasinal dish of pasta. Oh and chocolate of course.
Over the last few months we have been looking for pets, he loves puppies as most children do. We will buy little puppy for him when he is and his little brother are a little bit older.
He has now become fluent in counting from 1 to 10 and has started to pick up learning the alphabet. But he is not much of a talker which i think can be related to us teaching him 2 languages at once. But his favourite phrase would be What's that? He loves his brother very much and they get along extremely well for their ages. Sometimes we are surprised just how gentle Joshua is towards Cooper, both in action and thought.

Cooper was born 19 months after Joshua (His Brother). He was born a normal size baby, no where near as big as joshua. Cooper was born 2 weeks earlier than normal, such is the way with planned c-sections.
His appearance is very different to that of Joshua, perhaps the mixing of 2 different nationalities might have something to do with it. Joshua tends to look like his mother, where as Cooper is just like his dad. Cooper was/is a perfect baby, he never cried, except when he is very hungry or when his nappy needs changing. He is very happy little boy and as such is very easy to take care of. As can be seen in the table, some months were prefect. (As can be seen in the table 2.)
Cooper is growing very quick too. He is crawling around the house now with such easy and has started to walk. He loves his food, nothing can be passed without having the taste test applied. Not bad for someone with just 4 teeth. As with all little bothers he copies everything his big bother does, and tends to act older than his age. He loves looking in the kitchen cupboards, pulling plates out and seeing if they break.
We are always very busy with these 2 little boys. They seem to take up all of our time and then some. But it would be hard to imagine life without them.
An interesting fact, go check it out!
Men are officially the best at changing babies nappies! Research shows that the average time taken by a woman to change baby is 2 minutes and 5 seconds, whereas the average man takes 1 minute and 36 seconds! Expert in male and female behaviour Corinne Sweet says Changing baby is essentially a mechanical process, men approach it like a pit stop; they want it over as quickly as possible. So come on guys, you're the experts!!
